About me
Hi, I’m Adrian. I’m a programmer and I like my job. I know that’s not always a given in this industry.
Professionally I build websites and apps, mostly with WordPress and Flutter, for companies and agencies. I’ve been doing it for over 17 years, so I’ve seen a few trends that were supposed to change everything and mostly changed names.
What I do after hours
I build my own apps. I make them the way I’d like software to be made for me: no subscription for everything, no tricks in the interface and no hoarding data just in case. I wrote these principles down and called them Respectware.
For now you can use Masto Don't. The rest will show up here when it’s ready, not when it looks nice in an announcement.
What I write about
On the blog I write about technology and what it does to our everyday lives. Sometimes about software, sometimes about the internet, sometimes about why something annoys me. I don’t write “10 ways to” guides.
What I like
Well-designed things. The kind where someone thought before adding yet another button. I also like it when software does what it promises and leaves me alone.
